THEY NEVER WISHED HIM WELL, BUT GOD DID (Sunday, 1st February 2026)
Text for Today: Gen. 37:1-11 “And his brothers said to him, “Shall you indeed reign over us? Or shall you indeed have dominion over us?” (vs. 20).
Halleluyah to the Most-High for the privilege given to us to witness this first day in the second month of this great year. May we experience diverse possibilities in February in Jesus name. Your disposition to what the enemy says against your life and pursuit will determine whether it will come to pass or not. From our text for today, Joseph brothers did not hide their feelings and disposition to his dream from him; they told him categorically that he was not going to become anything near his dream. However, Joseph was not perturbed about all that they said against him and his dream, rather he kept dreaming and as well worked towards getting it accomplished.
They hated him so much that they wished him dead Gen. 37:20. Just as it happened in the days of Joseph it is also happening right in our days, where those you trusted so much will turn around and become your greatest enemy. The enemy is fond of saying whatsoever he likes, but I have come to assure you this morning that his words will not count in your life. Words and opinions are powerful things! They either build or tear us down. Despite Joseph’s brother’s evil words and opinions, he fulfilled his purpose on earth and got to his throne. God’s love for you is set on concrete; it has no cut of point. And that’s the foundation you can build your life on. It does not matter what situation and circumstances may be saying, focus and believe in what God’s word has declared about you. HAPPY NEW MONTH!
