How then can we launch out? Cont’d

5. Always seek divine backing.

=> Don’t rely on the promise and support of men alone. 1 Samuel 2:9.

=> Above the support a man has promised you, seek God in prayer.

=> In the absence of God’s backing, many things will go wrong. Exodus 2:12.

=> When Moses saw an Egyptian beating an Israelite, he was angry, and he looked to the right and to the left. When he saw no one coming, he killed the Egyptian. He refused to look up.

=> Maybe if he had looked up, God might have instructed him not to kill him. What he did landed him in 40 years of exile, before God gave him the assignment later.

=> Genesis 39:2-3; Exodus 33:15.

6. Celebrate the gift that God has given you and engage it consistently.

=> No one came into this world empty-handed. There are deposits of gifts and potentials that God has given to each of us.

=> Nobody manifests overnight; it’s a process. Whoever God will use, God will prepare.

7. Avoid the monsters of life.

a. Fear
b. Pride

8. Be thankful to God as you progress.

=> Don’t wait till you get to the throne before you give thanks.

=> Be thankful as you progress.

Things to note

1. Every man who makes an effort in life has a target to accomplish and looks for success.

2. Whatever God has not commissioned you to achieve, no matter what you do, it won’t work out. Timing matters.

3. Nothing ever gets done in life by human effort alone. Always seek divine backing.

Prayers

1. Father, as I keep launching out in 2026, may I not meet up with failure.
