SPIRITUAL POWER OUTAGE

Two major causes of spiritual power outage

1. Sin

=> Isaiah 59:2.

=> David as a case Study. Psalms 51:11-12.

2. Neglect

=> This has to do with someone who has received power and is already enjoying it, but neglected the works of righteousness by not praying, fellowshipping, and going to church again.

=> You must sustain your good works.

What happens when you suffer a spiritual power outage?

1. Work will be suspended.

=> When you suffer a spiritual power outage, you lose the zeal to do the work God has entrusted to you, and you stop making progress.

2. You won’t be able to communicate.

=> When you suffer a spiritual power outage, you won’t be able to communicate with God. You will lose interest in prayers.

3. Life begins to get spoilt.

=> When the power of God leaves a person, life becomes empty.

4. You won’t be comfortable.

Things to note

1. When power is not available, it affects everything.

2. As Christians, we can experience a spiritual power outage.

3. Whatever you go through when there is a physical power outage is what you go through when there is a spiritual power outage.

4. What does a believer want to achieve in life without spiritual power?

5. No one can witness for Jesus in the absence of power. Acts 1:8.

6. The beginning of the journey into power for a believer is the salvation experience.

7. You need to get saved before you taste power and know its value.

8. If you abandon the good works that have brought you thus far in life, you will start going down.

Prayers

1. Dear Lord, grant me grace to sustain the good works that’s has brought me this far.

2. My Father, my Father, may I not lose your power that is upon my life.
