THEY CAN’T STOP A MAN WHO IS ON A JOURNEY WITH GOD (Tuesday, 7th October 2025)
Text for Today: Neh. 4:1-9 “Nevertheless we made our prayer unto our God, and set a watch against them day and night, because of them.” (vs. 9).
The enemies will always come up against whoever has made up his mind to move to the next level in life, but they can’t stop him. There is no way you can aim to breakthrough without being attacked by the enemies. God’s programs always attract the enemies, and you must be watchful always. No wonder the Bible says in 1 Peter 5:8, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” You are a child of God, and Satan remains your archenemy. Satan’s work is to steal, kill and destroy – John 10:10. He attacked Jesus Christ so that He will not succeed and enlarge His divine mission for mankind. But we thank God that he has given Jesus Christ enough grace and power to overcome the devil through His death on the Cross.
From our text for today, Nehemiah was a man that desired to enlarge the city of God. His vision and mission was to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem. However, the enemies of progress rose against him. They used everything in their custody to war against Nehemiah but at the end, they failed and were disappointed. Let me quickly mention some of the aims of the enemies in your life. They want to ridicule you. They want to render useless your process and plan for enlargement. The enemies always want to cause trouble and scatter what you have planned or done. Beloved, I want you to know that the enemies never go weary or tired; therefore, you should not retire from prayers. I want you to know that, the progress you want to see in your life before this year is over is possible

- Father, I thank you for your divine covering over me.
