WHATEVER A MAN CANNOT GIVE HE WILL NEVER HAVE IN ABUNDANCE (Saturday, 26th September 2026)
Text for Today: Gen. 14:18-24 “And blessed be God Most High, who has delivered your enemies into your hand. “And he gave him a tithe of all” (vs. 20).
The principle of seed and harvest is the backbone of what sustains man and all other things on earth. Beloved, I want you to know that you will always reap the same kind of the seed you sowed, however, at a larger scale. If not for the principle of giving and receiving, none of us will be in faith today, and that could have spelt doom for humanity. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that HE GAVE His only begotten Son….” God gave Jesus and He reaped the whole world and He is still reaping even till today. He gave life and He is reaping life. Whatever a man cannot give he will never have in abundance.
You need to know that; financial breakthrough will not answer to fasting and prayer alone, but purposeful giving as well. If you keep on deviating from divine principles of giving, you have simply settled for a life of endless financial struggles and afflictions. From our text for today, Abraham heard that his nephew, Lot had been taken captive and robbed of his possession, immediately he assembled 318 of his servants, formed an army and confronted the enemy. Abraham did not only rescue Lot but also came back with bounty goods. When the spiritual leader of his time, Melchizedek reminded him that it was God who had given him the victory, Abraham understood the importance of ‘a tenth of everything’ and a strong covenant connector to the promise and covenant of God. What do you think you have today that was not given to you by God?
